Godwin has always loved drawing and creating but his first formal introduction to graphic design happened during his A-levels as part of an art and design course. 'It was exciting to realize that I could pursue what I love doing as a profession,' he says. For one of his final projects he produced what he calls a 'parallel magazine' where content and design were created simultaneously, thereby avoiding the restraints of a predetermined structure. 'I try not to adhere to any strict methodology and leave room for spontaneous and fluid thought processes,' he says. 'I am inspired and liberated by the notion that everything could and should be questioned in pursuit of a critical form.'
Most like to work with: I really like the work of Åbäke. Their work is always honest and there is an element of uncertainty that really inspires me.
