Following Renzo Piano's design for Hermès in Tokyo, this second statement store, designed by Rena Dumas Architecture Interieure, features a glass façade screen-printed with fine ceramic dots, which encloses the building in a cloudy white envelope and gives rise to a soft, filtered light inside.
Rooms are divided by suspended shelving and glass screens, while cherry tones blend with Portuguese Moleanos limestone, Corian, grey carpets and lights designed for the company in 1925. The store also houses a café created in collaboration with Paris-based designer Martin Szekely.
