01.1 'Tafelstukken' lighting objects, by Daphna Isaacs & Laurens Manders

Made from oak and porcelain, the five 'Tafelstukken' are 'a contemporary take on the classic centrepiece', functioning as lights as well as bowls and side tables. According to designers Daphna Isaacs and Laurens Manders, both graduates of the Design Academy Eindhoven, the playful pieces can be used to store or display items such as keys, books, magazines and fruit. We love the lights' characterful stances, natural colour palette, considered detailing and tactility. All 'Tafelstukken' are produced in the designers' Eindhoven workshop.
