08.4 Prada A/W10, by Miuccia Prada

Miuccia Prada is renowned for her way of making what's sexy demure, and what's typically dowdy luxurious. For autumn/winter, she played a new game of twist: her wonderful 'jazz café' swing dresses framed the décolleté with exquisite frills, ruffles, lace and sequins, yet managed to stay on the artsy side thanks to their retro graphic prints in tobacco brown and fern green. Chunky cable knit jumpers in ginger and cornflower, worn belted over circling skirts, came with matching knit headbands, while printed shirt dresses and shiny beige leather coats came with thick knitted socks and tights and patent platform heels. The result: an unashamedly feminine autumn/winter collection.
