Created by New York-based Danish make-up artist Kirsten Kjær Weis, this is the first range of cosmetics to excite us in a while. Kjær Weis, who has been in the business for more than 20 years, answered her own exacting requirements with an eponymous line featuring refined organic content and sculptural packaging, for which Kjær Weis enlisted the help of Marc Atlan, the man who designed the iconic Comme des Garçons scent bottle. The Kjær Weis line's heavy geometric casings are made of a new alloy, Zamac, with lids that slide and click with the heft of a Mercedes door. The make-up itself is a range of blush, tinted lip balm and eyeshadow, all as organic in content as possible.
