Few products live up to their hype like the iPad does. When this sufficiently slim, yet pleasurably weighty piece of kit dropped in to outshine our iPhone, we couldn't help but be entranced by the larger touch screen, the versatile perspective and the more sophisticated app usage. Browsing the web has become a joy, and even sending e-mails is no longer a chore. Ebook reader, photo album, video database, address book and music player all in one, the iPad has quickly become the accessory to own. While it may or may not, as the doomsters predicted, spell the demise of the publishing industry, it has certainly changed the way we live our lives.

Key features: Is it a book, a newspaper, a laptop, an artist's canvas, an MP3...? Whatever we use it for, we want one, to have and to hold
