House of Jacob Jensen

Last May we took you inside the character-filled house and studio of Danish design legend Jacob Jensen (W*99) in Hejlskov, where many of his products were displayed throughout. One year on and you don't need exclusive behind-the-scenes access to see the collection of more than 500 Jensen designs.

Opening this month in a remodelled 800sq m barn building nearby is the new House of Jacob Jensen, a design museum and expanded studio space showcasing the company's iconic design pieces, studies and graphic projects from across the last half-century.

The unveiling coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Jensen's Hejlskov home and design studio – a fitting tribute to a period of true creative dynamism.
