Fab 40: Stefan Diez, Munich

It looks like a prototype, but Stefan Diez’s synthetic paper bags are very much in production and available. Strong, water-resistant and frankly rather fine, the bag was designed in collaboration with the München-based mister’s missus Saskia, a jewellery designer. Easily more durable than your average long-life shopping bag, when the bags begin to look a little dog-eared they are fully recyclable.
