Just because you want a sleek, uninterrupted kitchen doesn’t mean you have to compromise on functionality. This stunning ‘Terra’ kitchen, designed by London-based architect Claudio Silvestrin for Minotti Cucine, is both discreet and practical. The exterior is available in three distinctive natural materials — porphyry stone from Valcamonica (below), Lebanese cedar or unpolished semi-precious Labradorite stone from Madagascar — while the ceramic hob and taps are almost hidden to ensure the clarity of the line is not broken. Meanwhile, behind cedar-lined doors and drawers exists a full range of built-in Scholtès appliances, including a state-of-the-art espresso/ cappuccino maker.
