Born in Tel Aviv, Isreal, but raised in Copenhagen, Tal R graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Arts and is now a professor at the Dusseldort Academy of Arts. One of Denmark’s most successful living artists, he has had solo shows in London, New York, Dublin, Berlin and was recently commissoned by the Danish Royal Family to decorate their winter residence, the Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen.

People assume that I know where I am in my so-called professional life, the truth is I have no idea. I could perhaps guess, but I’d be too embarrased.
