Finnish company Artek have always prided themselves on a design ethos of sustainability - incorporating the environment, architecture and design in equal measures. This year, they’ve taken these principles a giant leap further by building a pavilion in collaboration with the Japanese architect Shigeru Ban. The pavilion is made entirely from the self-adhesive sticky label strips removed to stick down envelopes, which have been developed into a viable building material by the Finnish forestry company UPM.
