Garderobe, Martin Kleinhans

Adhering to national stereotype, design firm Performa are true proponents of the Germanic perfection. Garderobe was initially created in 2002 but it has taken till the beginning of 2007 to complete the necessary nips and tucks to get this piece fit to grace our walls. Designed by Martin Kleinhans, Garderobe's parallel slits are fitted to accommodate as many different hooks and hangers as you might need. Plus, as it's available in a plethora of pantone colours, Kleinhans has ensured that our often-neglected hallways are given an eye-catching feature that does not only hold coats but has room for our photographs and memorabilia as well.
