The 60-second interview

PearsonLlyod is an East London based design studio founded in 1997 comprising Tom Lloyd and Luke Pearson who met whilst doing an MA at the RCA in 1993. Prior to this, Tom trained in furniture design at Nottingham and Luke studied industrial design at Central Saint Martins. Together the multidisciplinary nature of their work has, in a short time, placed them at the top of their field in pioneering British furniture and product design.

In Salone 2008, PearsonLloyd launched the Lox bar stool for Walter Knoll, the Rocky collection of children’s seating for MO by Martinez Otero, the Coast chair for Bernhardt Design and Danerka and the Gap shelving system for Case Furniture UK.
