Wallpaper* created a dark interpretation of fashion’s sculptural edge in autumn/winter 2008 by commissioning photographer Paola Kudacki to shoot menswear and womenswear covers at the curvaceous Brion-Vega cemetery in Veneto. One of architect Carlo Scarpa’s most seminal and poetic building works, completed in 1978, the cemetery was also his final resting place.
Since we launched our limited edition cover project as part of Wallpaper* magazine's tenth anniversary celebrations in 2006, some of the biggest and brightest names in the worlds of art, architecture and design have created unique and memorable images, exclusively for our Wallpaper* subscribers. With the artists' inspiration ranging from elk to goldfish, from fashion to the future, here's the full cover story to date.
