Unlike on the newsstand edition, the typography of the word ‘Printemps’ is translucent on the limited edition cover of this issue, revealing the model’s nudity beneath. Inspired by French 1930s typeface Bifur, by AM Cassandre, it was hand-drawn by typographers Katariina Lamberg and Anna Ahonen and its graphic nature reflects the shapes of that month’s fashion stories.
