Indian contemporary art star Subodh Gubta is known as the man who wowed the West by turning humdrum steel cooking kit into blockbusting sculpture, while his wife, London-born Bharti Kher - another Indian artworld great - is loved for the way she tumbles together the modern and traditional of subcontinental culture in a range of sculptural forms and bright bird paintings. 'In Another Life' is Gubta and Kher's first collaborative work. The photograph was taken especially for Wallpaper* in a studio in Hyderabad for our Reborn in India issue.
