Barbara Kruger
Text
Artist Barbara Kruger's graphic jolts of commentary in bold text bars have become as recognisable as a Warhol silkscreen. For Wallpaper*, she recycled the text from a 1987 collage. 'I was thinking about pleasure,' she says. 'The design market works the same way as art. I'm fascinated by what is fetishised and what is valueless.'
