Furniture designer Robin Day and his textile designer wife Lucienne are one of Britain’s most celebrated design couples and leaders in modern British design. In the first of their pair of covers, Robin showed his love for the outdoors with a photograph of a mountain hut in Norway, etched with his hand-written scrawl. Day climbed Mount Kenya aged 76 - a record, apparently. “Extreme sport was the only way I could switch off.’
