The 80s are back. Porsche's new Design Edition 1 Cayman S brings together gadgets, gizmos, speed and that all-essential indicator of refined German design - the matt black finish.
The Cayman S is perhaps Porsche's finest model, a perfectly packaged sports car that delivers sublime handling with everyday practicality. The black bodywork is complemented by an Alcantara trimmed interior and extra tweaks include Porsche's Active Suspension System.
Each car comes complete with a briefcase containing a set of matt black equipment, including a pocket knife, pen, key ring and pair of sunglasses, as well as a Porsche Chronograph watch, designed by the late Ferdinand Alexander Porsche himself. The company will make just 777 of the Design Edition Cayman S, with a starting price of 69,942 Euros, before tax.
