One of China's most influential rock bands, New Pants, was formed in Beijing in 1996 by Peng Lei, Pang Kuan, Lo Bo, and Shang Xiao, who later left the band. The band has graduated from its early influences, the Ramones and the New Wave, to a 1980s disco and electro style.
Dragon Tiger Panacea is taken from their latest album of the same name, which has won several accolades for the band since its 2007 release.
