The latest exhibition of Helmut Newton’s work opens this month at the Hamiltons Gallery in Mayfair. Whilst the show may not expose anything particularly groundbreaking in terms of Newton’s well trod oeuvre – we are just glad to be given yet another chance to revel in the full-sized glory of Newton’s slick aesthetic narratives.

Helmut Newton

A selection of some of our favourites from the Newton show
With sky-scraping bouffants, thigh-skimming skirts, legs to the ceiling and more than a fair share of heaving chests, Newton provides a seering visual transcript of haut monde depravity in the 1980’s.
On show from now until mid-June, Helmut Newton at the Hamiltons is a plush celebration of the intimidating achievements of a true art world visionary - with pieces produced for Vogue alongside achromatic miniatures, and a profusion of vast cinematic prints – prepare to be dazzled.
