Andy Warhol Giant Size
This monumental tome certainly lives up to its name. Not only did Andy Warhol work ceaselessly in every conceivable medium, he was also an obsessive hoarder and this is a vast scrapbook of paintings, clippings, letters, drawings, snapshots, Polaroids, prints and assorted ephemera, from ticket stubs to cheque receipts, all arranged chronologically to give an insight into Warhol’s never less-than-fascinating life. Giant Size is also an interesting primer on the genesis of pop art, a movement that emerged out of Warhol’s commercial art, before exploding exponentially with the founding of his famous Factory in New York in 1962.
