Rio-born Cildo Meireles has produced some of Brazil's most politically engaged and intriguing works during the last four decades, conveying powerful statements with an extraordinary economy of means. He had his first solo show at Salvador's Museum of Modern Art when he was just 19 and has since exhibited worldwide. Here, we take a look at some of his most seminal works.
