Another slick sampling of what might usefully called ‘pocket architecture’, the pint-sized slices of uber-modernism that take a slightly more practical approach to the problems of low-cost structures. Spacecraft is subtitled 'fleeting architecture and hideouts,' implying that experimentation only has a limited shelf life. That’s not to say that there aren’t permanent structures on show, but the most thrilling projects tend to be the most subversive, erected in hitherto off-limits spaces like electricity pylons and abandoned industrial spaces, here today and gone tomorrow.
