Paola Navone
The Italian designer Paola Navone worked with Alessandro Mendini, Ettore Sottsass and Andrea Branzi in the Alchimia group between 1970 and 1980 - together they were the leading proponents of avant-garde design. Navone has since been a prolific figure on the global design scene, combining her formative years in the Alchimia group with a quieter sensibility and appreciation of different cultural heritages in her designs. She has been the art director of Gervasoni since 1998 and has designed for a vast range of clients including Alessi, Armani/Casa, Driade, Molteni and Swarovski.
