Konstantin Grcic
Munich-based Konstantin Grcic is a designer who needs little introduction. An industrialist at heart, his design ethos is a constant attempt to experiment, reinvent and improve both function and aesthetics. He has designed for several manufacturers since he set-up KGID in 1991 including BD Barcelona, Flos, Magis, Muji and SCP. He has also curated the Serpentine Gallery’s inaugural design exhibition – Design Real – showing his own choice of 40 real, industrial objects.
